Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365 F&O) Functional Analyst to enhance our ERP capabilities. This role is responsible for providing expert guidance, recommending solutions aligned with best practices, and fully leveraging the Dynamics 365 platform. You will collaborate closely with business analysts to interpret business requirements and partner with developers to ensure the effective implementation of solutions that align strategically with business objectives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with business analysts to understand, validate, and refine business requirements, translating them into effective Dynamics 365 F&O solutions.
  • Provide functional expertise in Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, specifically in Finance, Procurement, Inventory Management, Production Control, and Warehouse Management modules.
  • Recommend and design robust solutions that optimize business processes and fully leverage standard Dynamics 365 capabilities to minimize customizations.
  • Work directly with developers to clearly communicate functional requirements, support technical implementation, and validate solution quality.
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME), advising both business analysts and developers on best practices and optimal use of Dynamics 365 functionality.
  • Evaluate business requirements alongside analysts, proactively recommending enhancements to fully utilize Dynamics 365 platform features.
  • Monitor upcoming Microsoft releases and platform updates, clearly communicating impacts, and guiding analysts and developers on best-practice adoption strategies.
  • Support end-users through training, documentation, and guidance, ensuring seamless adoption of solutions.
  • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, facilitating close collaboration between business analysts and developers.

Qualifications & Experience

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent experience.

Experience:

  • Minimum 3-5 years experience as a Functional Analyst or Consultant working directly with Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.
  • Proven ability to design and implement Dynamics 365 solutions using standard platform capabilities.
  • Experience collaborating closely with business analysts and software developers.
  • Functional knowledge in areas such as finance, procurement, inventory, production, or logistics.

Technical Skills:

  • Deep functional understanding of Dynamics 365 F&O modules, business processes, and configuration best practices.
  • Ability to write clear and detailed functional specifications and communicate requirements effectively to developers.
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps) preferred.
  • Basic understanding of integration frameworks, SQL, and reporting tools within Dynamics 365.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical, collaborative, and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to effectively bridge functional needs between business analysts and technical developers.
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Certifications

  • Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management Functional Consultant Associate
